Bimetal has more abvious advantages when processing high calcium carbonate powder PVC mixture to enhance the abrasion life.   Our company use special alloy powders being sprayed and welded on the top of screw flights, and use different alloys and welding methods for the screw of different functions.   We mainly adopt nickel based alloy which contains 25%-50% tungsten carbide to make the Screw And Barrel much more abrasion resistant than nitrided screw and barrel,therefore largely prolongs the use time.
